The site is information, not an offer

Everything here - the descriptions of services, the prices, the timelines - is general information to help you decide whether to get in touch. Prices are starting figures and timelines are typical ones; both depend on your project and are settled on a scoping call. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, a quote, or a commitment to take on any piece of work.

An engagement begins only when we have both signed a written agreement or statement of work. That document, not this site, sets out what is delivered, when, for how much, and who owns what - and where it and this site differ, it governs.

The demo reports

The example reports are demonstrations. They run on sample datasets, not on the data of any client, and the figures in them mean nothing outside the demo. Do not rely on them for any purpose.

You are welcome to sort, filter, export and edit them. Edits made in the editable reports demo stay in your browser and are not saved anywhere. The demos are provided as they are, may change or be unavailable at any time, and are there for you to evaluate the kind of thing I build - not to be used as a tool in their own right.

Using the site fairly

Please do not:

• interfere with the site or its API, or try to get around the limits on how often they can be called
• probe, scan or test the site for vulnerabilities, or attempt to reach anything that is not publicly offered, without my written permission
• send the contact form by automated means, or use it to send advertising or anything unlawful, abusive or misleading
• submit someone else’s personal information without their permission
• copy the site’s code, design or content for use elsewhere, beyond what the law allows

I may block access for anyone who does.

What you send me

Information you send through the contact form is handled as the Privacy Policy describes. Sending it does not create a client relationship or any duty of confidentiality, so please do not include anything confidential. If a project needs a non-disclosure agreement before it can be discussed in detail, say so and we will put one in place first.

Ownership

The site, its text, its design, its code and the demo reports belong to Dom Trip Code. You may view them and share links to them. What belongs to you in work I do for you is a matter for our agreement, not for these terms.

Names of software products and companies mentioned on this site - including the systems listed as ones I have integrated data from - are trademarks of their respective owners. They are named to describe my experience. I am not affiliated with, endorsed by or a partner of any of them unless the site says so.

No warranty

I try to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law permits. I do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that the information on it is complete or current.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Dom Trip Code is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability in connection with work I carry out for you is dealt with in our agreement for that work.

Where the site links elsewhere, I am not responsible for what is at the other end, and a link is not an endorsement.

Changes
